I was appointed As The Lieutenant Governor in The fall of 2021.
My job was to advocate for the student body at Florida International University: Which includes on collaboration between different organizations on campus, advocating on resources required, attending required events and meetings, and meet with administrators.
Student Programming Council Marketing Coordinator +5 points
Held Concurrently with The Lieutenant Governor position, I was the marketing coordinator for thee SPC.
My job was to come up with strategies on how to effectively create and market events on campus.
Creating Graphic requests, New and Old Media promotions, Creating events, Communicating with vendors.
Social Justice Summit & Diversity Day +4 points
Those two events were amazing and they brought attention to the topic of Social justice and Diversity at a crucial time.
We had important speakers for both events that happens in the fall of 2021.
It was at both events that I got to meet a few friends.
I love both events equally because they both follow the same protocol, and empower individuals to be a strong representation of themselves regardless of background.
Tuesday Times: Intersecting -isms: A Discussion of Racism, Heterosexism, and Cisgenderism, and Changes and Challenges for Women in Engineering and Tech +2 points
Those two Tuesday Times events were amazing: I would love to add to the discussion of how the first is much about individuals of different sexuality.
It teaches individuals to be comfortable with who they are through a time of challenges,
and the is second is more of a walk through on how the industry of engineering and tech have changed from being a male dominated field through how women are making a difference.
